Xmas so keep a lookout for some different and strange ones !!...As I
said earlier my comments are going to be short as some of them I've
never played before so its up to you out there in the "Cosmos"to fill in

have run out...Soooooooooooo here is the first one !!!!.......Seen the
film but can't remember the soundtrack except of course the
Title....It's more likely one of those films that the soundtrack is in

On this L/P there is a version of "If" that is the "Gem"!!!....It
equals some of the versions that are classed as "Definitive"..and that
has surprised me !!.....On The first L/P that is on here "Dianne Lee"
seemed to take a back seat on the vocals just doing the harmonising like
a backing singer BUT in this one she definatly does more !!...and you
can hear how good this Duo was....Its also seems that they have signed
the front cover......They Split Up in November 1980 and Lennie Peters
died of Cancer in October 1992...

Here's a great L/P all full of 50's magic !!....I had most of these tracks on 45's in my younger days !!....But it's great to hear them in "Stereo" and it's one I will play again ! and again ! and again ! and again !!!!!

We seem to be in the 70's now !!...with Bryan minus "Roxy" !!!...love the track "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes"...But definatly not his version of one of my favourite songs "Funny How Time Slips Away"...He should have done it like "Smoke" !!!...I think that some of the tracks were over produced ! if that makes sense !!...comments please !!!

Some L/P's now from "Bob"....The girl with the "Bare" Feet from the 60's singing some of her hits....Just seems like yesterday that "Sandie" was dangling on a string !!!....Phew!!! that was 49 years ago !!!
After "Sandie" get up on your feet "Bare" or not !! and have a "Samba" Rhumba" "Cha Cha" around the house !!...moving your body makes you fit !!So they say !!...so go with it !!!
Relax now with the orchestra of "The Above Gentleman"......
The Peddlers always seem to put a different slant on most of their cover versions of songs and this L/P is no different..when you first hear Track One I doubt whether you would guess what it was !!....This one and the two below thank you "John" for them !!!... didn't even get on that carpet !!!..aint technology Cool and great !!!

Here's a masterclass of singing and piano playing....Once again not played to much attention to "Ray's" singing in the past but this is a mature voice recorded in 1967...didn't realise Ray could sing "Falsetto" !!! and make it sound good !!
Ray asked Sid Feller to write all the arrangements on this album. The backing was standard big band or orchestra with strings. As an experiment, Ray sings with a high sustained falsetto that he tried, he said, “for no other reason than self-satisfaction.”
The fruity voice of "Marian" doing some "Swingin' with some well known songs !! A1 Classy Lady !!
We now have a gentle set of songs from the Irish Group.... it does say on the front cover "For Lovers Of All Ages"...but by the choice and sentiment of the songs and the couple on the front I would say "WRONG".....it's for the "Golden Day's" of the "Golden People " !!!!

News is that "Bob Dylan" has not yet acknowledged his "Nobel Prize" for Literature !!....so here is an early recording of his....I have not heard much of his work so can't make much of a comment !!...but here's a thought do I detect a slightly early development of the "Rap" !!! in his delivery !!....I did enjoy it... being that it was the first time I had actually heard a full L/P selection of songs !!...and I did recognise some of the songs !!

What a good idea !!!...it's like the "Hooked On Classics" idea... new & old mixed and to me it works....I wonder if there's more out there in the similar vein !!...this one came from "Bob"...so I would imagine its a "Over The Channel Release" !!!!
