Caterina Valente.

Caterina sings all songs in German and I have found a "Google Translation" of the songs so blame "Google" if they read a little strange !!.....I think thay did a direct translation and that never works 100% !!

June Christy.

If anybody out there  in the wide wide world has not heard of "June Christy" then when and if they decide to download this L/P they will get a pleasant surprise...June belongs to group of great Jazz singers that has never had what we call a hit record but is a great singer and has made quite a few L/P's....other singers like "Chris Conner" "Carmen McRae" "Anita O'Day""Dakota Staton" "Ethel Ennis"and loads more are in the same category....good competent singers in there own right...Its a pity that the singers of today can't match up to any of them !!....I only know of one that would fit the bill and that is a great Scottish Singer called "Carol Kidd" she is definatly worth a listen to !!

This is a 10 inch L/P of early Ella's....way before her move to Verve Records and all the "Songbooks".....I think there is a slight imperfection in the pressing of this L/P...on the track
"I've Got A Crush on you" if you listen very carefully you can hear the repeat of her singing it only goes on for a couple of lines... but it's worth a mention I wonder if anyone else who has got the album has also got it or maybe it's a one off....anyway its Ella and she can't do no wrong !!

Sandie Shaw.

This Sandie Shaw L/P starts off great.. Side One Track One great.. Side Two Track One cool version of "Satisfaction"..I wish she had carried on and done the rest of the album like the first tracks on both sides....Having said that it is still a good L/P but it is the Sandie Shaw that we were used to in the 60's....Later on she did change her style but this one indicates what she could do....Just love her Version of "Satisfaction"....But a good track is also
