This is some of Georgie's early recordings with "The Blue Flames" 1964/65/66...included in this compilation is also his Hit singles...It says on the back cover that his sound was "Rhythm and Blues"with a "Jazz" influence otherwise known as "Rockhouse"....Thats a new one on me !!

ReplyDeleteGreat LP with 2 of Fame's 3 sizable Canadian hits (Yeh Yeh 1965, Get Away 1966,...the 3rd being 1967s Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde, alas not on the LP).
