Helene De Lys

Can't find out much about this singer...there's not much info about her at all..she is definatly a forgotten singer !..pity the recording is a bit on the scratchy side...be nice if anyone has the CD.. which I found that there is a Japanese release out there..be great to have a link to it to replace the Vinyl that must have been played a lot....so she was appreciated....even the L/P cover is not to clear so you can't realy see what she looks like...even the CD has the same Blurry Cover.....But it is a great voice and needs to be heard even with all the crackles and pops the voice still shines through..any info on her would be appreciated !!

  3. Helene De Lys was a 1950s nightclub singer, born in Camden, NJ, whose only album, in 1958, was arranged and conducted by Jimmy Carroll. Her mother headlined on the Keith circuit in the late 1920’s and Helene often travelled with her. For a time she helped run an advertising agency founded by her father Emile Sholz.
