Glenn Miller & His Orchestra

As you can see from the front cover this L/P is from the soundtrack of the two films that Glenn Miller made...Great to see that his line up at that time included "Billy May" and "Ray Anthony" both as we all know became "Band Leaders" under there own steam!!!!...included is two classic Miller tracks....great stuff love the "Swing " bands of the 40's & 50's !!

I guess that there would be some swing music amongst this little lot of borrowed L/P's and I am not disappointed with the original Glenn Miller...RCA has done a brilliant job of Enhancing for Stereo !! usually when they do that it tends to leave a slight echo and it doesn't sound right but not with this one !!!

I'm disappointed with this one !...its another "Electronically Created Stereo" and this one doesn't seem to work they have separated the instruments to give a stereo effect and have lessened the "Glenn Miller Sound" so it sounds just like a random big band !!...the other one I have posted earlier  that had the ECS sounded great and it also a RCA International L/P....So the little man at the controls of the knobs and sliders perhaps wasn't listening too well !! on this one !.....Maybe it's my ears but would like a comment on this one !!
