 All the well known hits are on this L/P as well as some of Barry's Power Ballads....I always thought that he wrote all his own songs and recorded them...BUT looking at the information only about half of them on this L/P were written by him....Well you learn something new every day !!!..."Mandy" his first big hit was originally called "Brandy" and I did have the single of it...But I can't remember who it was by !!!...not got it now so I can't look !!!....Just got a flash I think it was also by a Barry.... Something !!!...BUT could be wrong....

As with all "Live & Concert L/P's" to get 100% enjoyment out of it you would have to been there and a part of the audience "clapping" and "shouting" and "cheering" as this "Royal Albert Hall" concert on 11th &12th of January 1982 is just doing that !!....Like the "Cliff Richard" concert that was posted earlier this seems to be a great couple of nights out!!...It is "Barry" at his peak voice wise singing most of his well known hits and doing a great job....he even pokes fun at himself with a self comment about his "nose"....So all of us that was not there will have to do with just the sound and not the vision....Somebody should invent a stylus that could read visuals as well as music!!....and a whole new concept would be born !!!!

Still keeping in the "Bob" mode we have a slightly different "BM" giving his "Swing" tonsils a good airing !!...seems that he giving his singing voice a few style changes which is great for the listener...you can only listen to a certain amount of "Big Power Ballads"before you put the ear-plugs in !!!...Barry does a great job with these tracks and his voice is spot on !!!

From one "Barry Manilow" to another this time he dips into his "Jazzy" side and does a great job and may surprise many people !!....Thanks once again to "Belguim Bob"!!!....No information on the back sleeve about who wrote the songs...They are all original no standards so I assume that "Barry" has written them !!
