Jim Diamond.

Here's the Scottish guy with the distinctive voice performing some of his own songs...the arrangements and the backing band are first class....I still think that he should have been more well known than he was...Once again its a case of the more you hear this L/P the better it becomes....So anybody who wants to hear and get to know a new voice have a listen and tell me what you think.....And if you like him nip out to your local music shop and see if you can find his CD's or if you are lucky some of his L/P's
Unfortunately Jim Diamond died in his sleep on 8 October 2015

  2. I met Jim in 2007 when he was at The Bulls Head in Barnes - South West London where he gave a intimate try out concert together with the Van Morrison Guitarist Ronnie Johnson for friends and family and we were accidentally there, because we found it on the Internet. We were very warm welcomed by Jim and had a great Evening/Night. Since then we visited The Bulls Head (A fantastic Jazz-Blues and Beyond Venue and Pub. Check the website!) many times. But the first time with Jim and Family and Ronnie we will never forget.

    1. Hi Phil..Thanks for your comment and info...Its great when you have memories like that, you remember them for the rest of you life..I certainly do remember all the great artists and singers that I met in my teens when I used to work back stage at our local Variety Theatre....Unfortunately it was demolished to make way for a Shopping Centre...thanks again for sharing....Cheers Luigi
