Don Lusher Band...The Collection.
We "Brits" get everywhere another L/P from an "English" musician who has played in most of the "British Big Bands" of the day going right back to "Ted Heath"...Unfortunately he is no longer with us....A very pleasant selection of tunes and songs that makes easy listening "Easy"

ReplyDeleteRE-POST
Enjoy !
There is a LOT of fun in this collection, thanks, Espo!
ReplyDeleteSay, please let me know if I'm doing the wrong protocol for re-up requests--I'm putting my short list of humble asks right here if you please: Please re-up the 4 out of 5 Pia Beck post shares which can't be downloaded anymore? Also, please, Tommy Dorsey and Orchestra - The Beat of the Big Bands. And if you please, when you can, Mick -- Willie Nelson: Country Willie -- His Own Songs. THANKS for your consideration, mate :)
Hi Tanky... no you are okay to request any re-posts that you want...You will get all of them eventually so bear with me on that one !...and thanks once again for your kind comments...as I have said before "Variety is the spice of life"...hence all the different kinds and styles of music on here !!!....Take care....Luigi / Espo !!
ReplyDeleteNICE of you, Espo, thank you -- I'll just stand back and watch the variety (then listen!).
DeleteNo worries, no hurries my friend!
Hi again, Espo -- Now that you have offered, would you mind please letting me have these re-up requests in flac? If you can, when you can of course. And if too much bother, mate, I'll be happy to get mp3s :) THANKS for everything! tank
DeleteHi Tanky...Ok...will do your requests from now on in FLAC...my Creative Smart recorder that I have for years and is a very good one simple and straight forward ..no Bells And Whistles !! and its an old one so doesn't support Lossless/ FLAC.... only Mp3 /Wave/ WMA....but I have an Audio Converter that can convert mp3's to FLAC so I will use that to convert the files...and hope they sound okay !.......Cheers.....Mick /Luigi !
ReplyDeleteHi Luigi, that is very nice of you and I sure thank you for your kind intentions! I just need to point out that we can't convert lossy format to lossless (that would be mp3 to FLAC). FLAC is lossless, but if we convert mp3 to FLAC, it will still be mp3. That's lossy and can in no way be upgraded. Sorry that I may have confused the issue by asking for FLAC (I really meant lossless), lol. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? I have been loving what you have shared and how you have shared it over the years... Mp3 simplicity and solid sound. I'd be happy for sure if you just kept things the way you were doing it--then no tech discussions, just feedback on the music shares themselves! :) BEST, tank
ReplyDeleteHi...Thanks for that info...I did wonder about that !!...I am not very Techie so that did clear that up...I'm just a simple guy !!....any way if I do get some music from other sources that are "Lossless FLAC" I will post them as FLAC....Cheers Luigi
ReplyDeleteRighto, Luigi! Yes, mp3s are lossy and can't possibly be upgraded. But when music is compressed to an mp3 file, there is only a teensy bit of 'detail' lost, inaudible to most human ears! The tiny trade-off is, you save tonnes of space in you pc or hard drive, and you can store many, many, more mp3 files than FLAC or WAV files!!
DeleteLuigi, I love the fact that you concentrate on restoring LPs (record albums), because the difference between mp3 and lossless hardly matters for listening/dancing appreciation!
It is mps ripped from CD format that makes more of a difference to the average ear--but still, not a lot. :)
CAN YOU PLEASE see my new REQUEST on your latest BLUE DIAMONDS post?
RIGHT NOW we gotta hear THE BEACH BOYS if at all possible! As always , you are the best! tank
