Helen Shapiro

This is a great L/P from "Helen" and if she was sixteen as the title say's her voice was very mature for her age...the songs are varied and her version of "I Want To Be Happy" is fantastic its just like the tracks from my other post of "Helens" "Straighten Up Fly Right" so give them both a listen and be amazed !!!

  2. Hi!

Thanx for all the music you share. Would like to get this one. LUV her voice. But D/L says to "subscribe" & do not subscribe to D/L sites. A possible re-up please using another file sharing site? Many music sharers are starting to use "Kraken Files" & it's free.

    Cheers!
    Ciao! For now.

  9. A fine collection of Miss Shapiro’s early work from her days as a pop singer. Seeking out her later recordings, particularly those made with Humphrey Lyttleton is a very rewarding experience and they provide proof positive of a talent that matured into a performer with much greater depth than the 1960s popular music she recorded could ever have predicted. She has long been retired, but the recordings live on. Cheers.
