The Beatles Rarites.

The Beatles released two different Rarities compilation albums: a UK version issued on 2 December 1978 (later standalone in 1979) on Parlophone, and a separate US version released in March 1980 on Capitol, each created to collect hard‑to‑find tracks specific to its market.

The Rarities album is not a single unified release. It exists in two distinct editions—UK and US—each designed to fill gaps in its region’s Beatles catalogue before Past Masters standardized the discography.
