Teach Me Tiger...April Stevens.

What a different voice as sexy as the cover!!...well worth a listen if you have not heard of "April"
Caroline Vincinette LoTempio (April 29, 1929 – April 17, 2023), known professionally as April Stevens, was an American Grammy Award-winning singer of traditional pop, best known for her collaborations with her younger brother, Nino Tempo, as Nino Tempo & April Stevens. Stevens was an inductee in the Niagara Falls Music Hall of Fame
 In 1959 April had a US charts hit with the song "Teach Me Tiger", which caused a minor uproar for its sexual suggestiveness and consequently did not receive airplay on many radio stations. The song peaked at No. 86 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Teach Me Tiger! represents some kind of absurd apotheosis in post-Julie London pop seduction -- April Stevens' vocals are so breathy that one can't help but wonder whether the poor girl spent the recording session hooked up to a respirator machine. Calculated naughtiness that's ultimately as innocent as a lamb, the album luxuriates in the double entendres and nudge-nudge-wink-wink eroticism of a simpler time. Henri René's lush, knowing arrangements perfectly complement Stevens' starry-eyed interpretations of the songs.

    I guess in 1959 It was a sexy !!....Compared to what we hear now in 2026 !! it wasn't !!

    Thanks a lot for this review, but unfortunately it seems, that the link is broken or the the file is deleted, 'Cause "404, File Not Found" the Pixeldrain site reports!! Can you fix please and repostr??? Thanks for the efforts!

      It is a mystery, I tried it again and suddenly, against the report before, the file exists and a link button appears; sorry, but I don't know why??!!

      Hi T.G...Sorry that you are having trouble with Pixeldrain I have checked the file and it works ok for me ..and it has been downloaded 59 times....Have you checked my comments on the post "You Can All Join In"...the "AI" bod( Bot) !says that it seems to be doing that for random downloads....If you, or anybody looking in has any other sites like MEGA which is okay and I didn't seem to have any problem whith them..as I said only reason i changed to Pixeldrain is my free allowance was full....Ask your "AI" Bot Or Bod !..why you cant download the file ...Cheers Luigi

      Hi Luigi, thanks for all your efforts, I got it after a while and it was the problem or circumstance, that Pixeldrain yesterday was working like a Yo-Yo! Stay safe!
