Johnny Logan

Let's see what Goodies "Bob" from Belgium has for us now...In 1980 & 1987 this guy won the "Eurovision Song Contest" and is the only one who has won it twice !!

Mitch Miller & The Gang

Fancy a "Sing-a-Long" !!!.....great to help keep one of those long gone parties going !!.... shades of "Ray Conniff " with that shuffle beat !!...don't know what the youngster's of today would make of them !!!..If they could keep off their phones! or tablets! or i.pads ect... for more than a couple of mins !!

Mantovani & Orchestra

Still with "Bob" for this one as well !!...the sweeping strings of "Mantovani" with some great and well known tunes that we could definatly call "Standards !!

Stanly Black & Orchestra

First track sets the mood for this excellent "Phase4 Stereo" production by "Stanley Black" hence the title !!...The piano is featured predominately so being that "Stanley" plays piano we can assume that it is him playing as well as conducting !!...great selection of songs !!

Al Stewart

Ok so enough of my musical taste!! lets see what "USA" has to offer via "John" at the record store !!...Can't say I have heard of this singer so I had to "Google" him to find out some info...turns out that he is a "Scottish" folk singer from the 60's...

Alastair Ian "Al" Stewart (born 5 September 1945) is a Glasgow-born[1] singer-songwriter and folk-rock musician who rose to prominence as part of the British folk revival in the 1960s and 1970s. He developed a unique style of combining folk-rock songs with delicately woven tales of characters and events from history.[2]

Eddie Albert

Change of pace and style now bit of CW (I think)...american actor "Eddie Albert" giving it a go !!..we certainly have a mixture this time !!!..."Variety Is The Spice Of Life" !!!!

Mary Wells

Back to reality now with some "Tamla Motown" tracks in glorious "Mono" !!...featuring of course her Hit "My Guy"...

Harpers Bizarre

Harpers Bizarre was an American sunshine pop band of the 1960s, best known for their Broadway/sunshine pop sound and their remake of Simon & Garfunkel's "The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy)

April Stevens

What a different voice as sexy as the cover!!...well worth a listen if you have not heard of "April"

Booker T & The M.G.s

Let's have a bit of "Funk & Soul"....

Booker T. & the M.G.'s is an instrumental R&B/funk band that was influential in shaping the sound of Southern soul and Memphis soul.
They also released instrumental records under their own name, of which the best known is the 1962 hit single "Green Onions".[1] As originators of the unique Stax sound, the group was one of the most prolific, respected, and imitated of its era. By the mid-1960s, bands on both sides of the Atlantic were trying to sound like Booker T. & the M.G.'s.[2][3]

Diana Ross

No need for a "Google"search for this singer !!!.."Diana" minus the other two !!..just a couple of songs that I recognise...But the voice is great !!

Georgie Fame.320 Kbps

Re-Post
I always thought that "Georgie Fame" could do better than his "Pop" songs...and here is an L/P that just proves that...just a bit of inside information that I have read somewhere...on the first side of this album second track "Blossom" is dedicated to singer songwriter
"Blossom Dearie" she wrote and recorded a song called "Sweet Georgie Fame" on one of her albums so he has reciprocated with one about her...Ain't that sweet !!...love the track "Vino Tequila" Hic Hic !! Side Two is better than Side One
