Dr. Boogie has, once again, poured through music archives to unearth gems that have been buried in the vaults for far too long. Unlike many similar compilations that have been released over the years, these lesser-known tracks are worthy of serious reexamination. For whatever reason, these bands didn't catch on in their time, but definitely not because the music is lacking in any way. "Heavy Jelly" contains 21 rare instrumental tracks that total just under 50 minutes. There isn't a bad track to be found anywhere on this disc.
