Gene Vincent.

I should imagine that this is an L/P of "Gene's" early recordings 1964 to be exact !!..there are some great classic "Oldies" on this one !!!...I'm quite suprised about the clarity in "Gene's" voice even when he is singing and rocking you can here every word !!...today's singers should take note !!!

  1. If these were recorded in 1964, they are by no means early recordings. His big hits, Bluejean Bop was 1956, and Be Bop a Lula was 1958.

    Yes, early on, Gene was with The Blue Caps for his classic singles.
    Here he is accompanied by The Shouts -
    and it's a good outing!

  3. Instead of the too much played "Be Bop A Lula" the original version of "Baby Blue" is my all time fav.
