After Listening to this L/P from over the pond via Johns record store I feel that I have missed out on "Mr Albert Lee"!!!..who up to this point was a stranger to me !!..Thanks John for hedifficating ! me !!...some great tracks on this one !!
Albert William Lee (born 21 December 1943) is an English guitarist known for his fingerstyle and hybrid picking technique. Lee has worked, both in the studio and on tour, with many famous musicians from a wide range of genres. He has also maintained a solo career and is a noted composer and musical director.

ReplyDeleteThere's a great moment in the documentary BORN FIGHTERS where Dave Edmunds is gleefully watching Albert Lee lay down tracks on Rockpile's album. Dave is a guitar virtuoso himself--but Albert's playing impresses him. - Stinky
