ReplyDeleteThis was the final album released during the singer's lifetime and because of his many health and emotional issues is indeed a ragbag of tracks from a number of sources. It is, in my opinion, not one of the better examples of his oeuvre. Perhaps it is a completists' album for there are many others which better represent the work of"The King of Rock 'n' Roll". However, it has a place in the scheme of things as his valedictory work, albeit a somewhat muted ending.
