Ella Fitzgerald.

I have this L/P as a CD under another name mine is called "The Intimate Ella"...But no matter this is "Ella" at her best...the CD gives a little more info like The guy playing the piano is "Paul Smith" who has accompanied "Ella" on her "Jazz At The Phil" Concerts....also this was recorded in 1960 when "Ella" was 40....Thanks "John" for this "Gem"!! in its original form !

    Thanks for this nice supplement of my "Ella-Collection", inside the best still are the Cole Porter songs, but Ella intimate of course sounds like pure Ella, very much appreciated!

    Ella is always unfailing with pianists. Just think back to her albums with Ellis Larkins for Decca. Thanks for this album in its original incarnation, which is how I first heard it years and years ago before the CD era.
