This L/P does not say who or what the Orchestra/Band is so I assume that it was made by session musicians...As you can see on the back sleeve it says " A Romantic Interlude In The Pacific"...so if you like Hawaiian Guitar music then this might be the one for you !!!

ReplyDeleteHi Anon 1&2...Thanks for your kind comments...glad to be able to introduce you to some great sometimes forgotten singers that I feel should be more well known even if they are no longer with us ....Cheers.....Luigi
ReplyDeleteHi Espo.
ReplyDeleteI know that this is an old(er) post but just for completion's sake I thought I'd let you know that it was recorded in 1975 by the Hawaiian Serenaders. Over the years a few groups have called themselves this however this recording is most probably by the Dutch (!) group of that name.
LOVE your blog especially your opinions.
Correction - recorded in 1970 not 1975
ReplyDeleteHi Allan...thanks for that info....and Mystery solved !!!...glad you enjoy my rambling and sometimes inane opinions ....Cheers ...Luigi / Espo..
