Here is some early recordings of Andy's from about 1961....all taken in a slow pace and dreamy which was his style....First time I've heard the "verse" to "Secret Love" didn't realise it had one till I heard this version.....Sorry for the worn track of "Misty" and others but I recon the person who had this before me must have definitely needed a new "Stylus" (Needle) !!

I think that there might be a pressing fault on the first side of this L/P or someone has played it with a knitting needle!!!....She has a hiss on all the words that begin with "S"....so to quote one of her tracks on here "I'm Sorry".....It was'nt new when I got it so I could'nt return it to the shop for a replacement....the second side is okay...Apart from that Eydie does a good job going "Country Style"


P.S. I think CBS should have titled this "Gorme Swings Country Style" !!!!

"Andy Wiswell" "Ernie Altschular"......It is a very quiet soothing and as usual "Laid Back Effort" from "Mr C" !!!....And it includes his Hit "Its Impossible" !!!

One of Jack Jones best L/P's in my opinion....I wish he had done more tracks on it tho' only 10 tracks total playing time aprox 28 mins seems a bit mean !!! Even Sinatra gave us 15 tracks on both of his "Swingin' " L/P's !!....Best Track is "It Don't Matter To Me"!!

Another fist class L/P from Mr Jones...recorded 1965-66-67 according to the label on the L/P, so I imagine that might be some singles involved....usually the singer and producer of the L/P choose the songs for it and record then all in one go....or the tracks have been lying around for some time and someone decided to create an L/P

This Petula L/P was the only one that she recorded for MGM....obviously in america there is not much information on the back cover I think it was probably 1972 or thereabouts Pets in good voice and the tracks are a mixture pop tunes... and one written by her and one by Tony Hatch & Jackie Trent....The arrangments are by "Don Costa" who has done most of "Eydie Gorme's" L/Ps so they are cool !!...(Now is 1972)....not 2019 !!
